Key Aspects of Working at Height Training

Definition of Working at Height; Working at Height (WAH) is refers to any work conducted in an environment where there is a risk of falling from height that could result in personal injury. This encompasses various of scenarios such as working above ground level, near open edges, through floor openings, or on fragile surfaces. It also includes tasks such as working on scaffolding, rooftops, ladders and other elevated platforms.

Working at Height Training Objectives;

The objectives of Working at Height Training is to ensure the safety of individuals engaged in tasks performed above ground level. The key objectives of this working at height training includes;

  1. Risk reduction : Minimize hazard during working at height and preventive measures to reduce the likelihood of accidents and injuries

  2. Compliance : Adhere to regulations and industry standards to protect workers and maintain legal compliance

For those completed these Working at Height training will receive certificate of attendance and competency card recognized by DOSH.
